Justicia has proved to be a troublesome genus as can be seen in numerous postings during Acanthaceae fortnight.

I have added list of Rungia species in India based on the reference (Karthikeyan et al. 2009). Thanks a lot, … None of the sources given at Rungia treats R. parviflora (Retz.) Nees as a synonym of R. pectinata (L.) Nees as give by The Plant List ver. 1.1 (The record derives from WCSP (in review) (data supplied on 2012-03-23) which reports it as a synonym) . Further it has been stated to have been derived from WCSP (in review), which is still under review. . Udated efi as per New Names and Combinations in Indian Acanthaceae John R. I.
