I have photographed this plant at Mahabaleshwar, Machutar strawberry orchard at 22May12.
It was growing as an hedge.
Height upt 10 feet.
Flowers pale yellow. Fruits orange when ripe.

Id pl of the planted shrub seen near Kates point- Mahabaleswar. Is it some Solanaceae?
Local people call it `Brazil.`, seems to be exotic.

Seeing this all over in mahabaleshwar, mh right now. Here are two more pics. Some solanum species? … must be Acnistus arborescens.

I vaguely remember that this was identified earlier but I don’t remember.
The first picture looks like Acnistus arborescens.
Not sure if the second one is the same.
