Synonyms: Microstylis cylindrostachya (Lindl.) Rchb.f. in W.G.Walpers, Ann. Bot. Syst. 6: 207 (1861). Malaxis cylindrostachya (Lindl.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen. Pl. 2: 673 (1891). Distribution: Himalaya to Tibet Beautiful depiction of floral structure. As I remember this species has one leaf only. I have seen its tiny form in Kedarnath area measuring only up to 5cm. Thanks for latest name and beautiful images… lucky to see this in Chakrata this year.. ORCHIDACEAE Juss. Fortnight: 221013-2 Orchid for id from Deovan Chakrata BS86 : Attachments (5). 3 posts by 2 authors. Looks like Malaxis cylindrostaycha. This one is new to me. I photographed this after the rain stopped and managed to get some close ups. I think this is Malaxis cylindrostachya (Dienia now?). Please advise.
