Pogonatherum crinitum (Thunb.) Kunth,

a wild grass around 2 feet height from Hosur area of Tamilnadu

…, i am doubtful about it…
I don’t think it is any Pogonatherum because leaves as well as inflorescence looks much different…

This looks like Tripogon. Please send close up photo of single spikelet.
