from near Barkagaon forest area (Jharkhand)
plants around 30-40 cm in height

Location– Forest area near the Barkagaon (Jharkhand),

date I saw in flowering is : 12-6-2013, season is pre monsoon,
the plants average height are 30-40 cm and flower size is 3 cm

This is really interesting. Its a rare orchid (not classified according to IUCN though). But often misidentified as Geodorum recurvum.

Another nice collection. Liked it.

Is it also known as June Lily?
