I had seen this Herb at Chidiyatapu (Near Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar). Date/Time: 23-12-2010 / 11:00AM Location: Chidiyatapu, close to Sea shore, (Near Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar) Habitat: Wild Plant Habit: herb – This is an Orchid. Cant confirm the species without seeing the flowers, but if I had to make one guess then I would have gone for Geodorum densiflorum but that would just be a guess. – I too feel it’s Geodorum sp. We need more details for confirmation. If I have to guess this is Geodorum densiflorum, but without flower its impossible to confirm the species.
