ORCHIDACEAE: Lady Slipper Orchids – Cypripedium elegans Rchb.f.:   Cypripedium elegans Rchb.f., Flora 69: 561 (1886).

Distribution: East Nepal to China (NW. Yunnan)

Yes it is green and the smallest one found in India.
The flower is green it also means it is helping in producing food material for the plant, especially for ovary.

Special alpine terrestrial orchid. It still eludes me.

Cute tiny flower. Looks completely different from the other Ladies slippers. May be this has not bloomed completely.
