Location: Kharidhunga, Sindhupalchok, Nepal
Date: 6 September 2017
Elevation : 8700 ft.
Surprisingly the plant was almost above 120 cm.

Very interesting. Yes this is Platanthera clavigera and now known as Herminium clavigerum. Name comes from the distinct shape of the spur.

Thank you … for the new name.
By the way what is the maximum height of the plant as it was around 160 cm above.

Herminium clavigerum (Lindl.) X.H.Jin, Schuit., Raskoti & Lu Q.Huang !

At Vitte, Sherpaland at about 2700m
Plant: orchid
Flowering october but at its end (full flowering in september)
Plant growing in the grassy talud of a path
Flowers green; upper ones fresh

I think this is Habenaria clavigera. Where was it taken? Where is Sherpaland?

Thanks, … I think it may be in Nepal.

Herminium clavigerum (Lindl.) X.H.Jin, Schuit., Raskoti & Lu Q.Huang  Syn : Platanthera clavigera Lindl. ??

This should be Platanthera clavigera. I do not think this should belong to Herminium as some Chinese and British experts pushed it to.
